Chairman's Update

Clarke BOS Proposes Personal Property Tax Rate Hike

The Clarke County Board of Supervisors is proposing raising the personal property tax rate by 5%, from $4.271 to $4.496 per $100 of assessed value.

The supervisors will hold public hearings on the budget proposal and the tax rates it includes at 6:30 p.m. April 8 at the Berryville-Clarke County Government Center on Chalmers Court.
